"CORN"!! Impressive, bold, vintage wall hanging/art/picture, hand embroidered in colorful crewel. Bunch of 3 ears of corn with husks. On brown fabric in vibrant shades of orange, rust, yellow, brown, beige, tan, black and white. Kitchey enough, and skillfully crafted. Get your "angry emojis" ready, posting a picture of this large wall hanging will evoke many!* Lol. (*social media fad...whenever corn is posted react with an "angry emoji). Silly maybe, but true. Really very nice for a kitchen or dining room. Ears of corn measure approximately 7-8 1/2 in. Whole corn bunch, top to bottom, is approximately 18 in. Beautiful, hand-made frame is dark wood. Some imperfections consistent with age, but still ready to hang.Fabric is on wood stretcher inserted into frame. Fabric is marked/stamped "#0631. ©1977. Paragon Corp." This is, most likely, the embroidery kit information. Artisan unknown. Sawtooth hanger. Size is approximately 28 in tall X 17 3/4 in wide X 1 in thick.
