Up for auction is a professional restoration service for an existing Pioneer CT-F1250 cassette deck you own. I do not have a deck for sale..............this is a repair/restoration service to bring your cassette deck back to life and beyond. It is more expensive than some of the other services that I have on auction but this is because the CT-F1250 has twice the amount of electrolytic capacitors and the belts and idler in the transport are a challenge to install. There is also three times the amount of mechanical and electrical adjustments to be made. This puts the CT-F1250 in a class of it's own..............a super nice collectible deck but a challenge for us tech types. So in summation you'll get new belts, idler tires and pinch rollers along with replacement of capacitors on the motor control, power supply, logic board, BLE board, the main board and all alignments performed. Parts not in stock are new heads, display assemblies, exterior parts, and microprocessors. After the auction I will provide a shipping address and I return the unit in a new box with bubble packing ( cost). If you have a wood case on your deck please keep with you as wood does not travel well. Please check my feedback and bid with confidence.
Return shipping is just .00 to cover new double walled boxes and approx. worth of bubble wrap along with transit costs through Fed Ex
I have pinch rollers back in stock and these will be installed on every deck sent in for service. After 40 years the originals are past the point of working properly and can't be rehabbed.
Make sure your capstan shaft spins at the very least. If the capstan motor doesn't spin I can't repair the deck as I'm all out of direct drive motor components..
My turnaround time is generally within a week of receiving your deck.
