Handcrafted Wood & Glass Jewelry Display Case Matching Pair 22"x 18 3/4"x 2½"
This offer is for a matching set of two professionally handcrafted wood and glass jewelry/merchandise countertop display cases. The display cases were custom made by a professional cabinet maker in the early 1980's and used by the seller for 3-4 years intermittently to display jewelry. Since the mid 1980's the display cases have been stored inside a home and retain a 'like new' condition.
Dimensions of each display case: 22 inches x 18 3/4 inches x 2½ inches. The depth of the case is a good two inches when the glass lid is closed. Each case weighs 7.4 pounds.
I am not an expert on types of wood but it appears the frame was made of pine or other soft wood and the bottom panel seems to be a plywood type of composition. The lid is glass, as I recall. Again, it has been many years since I acquired the display cases and I do not recall these details but the buyer should be able to determine this by viewing the attached images.
Condition: Both cases are in LIKE NEW condition. The cases were never customized in any manner (no staining of wood, handle attachment and the like) and they remain in their original condition. There are no dents in the wood, no stains or other damage to the wood. The glass lids have no cracks or damage and the case hinges work like new as well. Only the effects of the wood aging for the past 38 years distinguish these items from new.

Special note regarding shipping.
The two display cases will be shipped inside a large, thick, box that measures 29"x 16"x 28" and packed well with bubble wrap & extra cardboard separating the two cases with a total estimated weight of 25 lbs. The two least expensive shipping options are Fed Ex ground and UPS ground. If the buyer prefers another shipping option contact the buyer for its consideration.
PLEASE NOTE: Unpaid item cases are automated to open after 2 days without payment. Once opened, EBay allows an UP TO additional 5 days for you to pay, which will close the case with no penalty to your account.
